June 16, 2008

Massachusetts' THE ACACIA STRAIN is in the middle of the month-long headlining tour dubbed the Sun Your Bunz Tour with support from ALL SHALL PERISH and IN THE FLOOD. Wrapping up the Sun Your Bunz Tour in Holyoke, MA, just minutes outside THE ACACIA STRAIN's hometown of Springfield, the band will have its set filmed for an upcoming DVD.

"This is the best time of year to tour," says THE ACACIA STRAIN vocalist Vincent Bennett. "I couldn't ask for a better group of dudes to spend my time on the road with. Excited to see old friends and meet new ones. It is going to be a killer June. Come on out and Sun Your Bunz!"

THE ACACIA STRAIN is gearing up for the release of its fourth studio album, "Continent", which is due out August 19 through Prosthetic Records. The band had the opportunity to work with acclaimed producer Zeuss on the release, and has posted a video blog from the recording process, which can be viewed below.

"We don't remember when writing a record felt this good," explains the band's guitarist, DL. "Continent has something to it that we never really tried before; some uncharted territory, but at the same time still left us room to do what we love doing best. There's a little something for everyone on this one...even that guy."
